What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets AI assistants securely connect to external tools and data, so they can answer questions using information from your BIK account.
Think of it as a bridge between BIK and your AI assistant. Instead of switching between tabs and manually looking up data, you can ask questions in plain English.
For example, you can ask:
“How did my campaigns perform last week?”
“Which journeys made me the most money last quarter?”
“How long will my balance last?"
Your AI assistant can use the available BIK tools to retrieve relevant data and help you understand it.
What can you do with BIK MCP?
BIK MCP currently provides read-only access to your store’s dashboard data. Here are few use-cases of BIK MCP
1. Explore your store’s data
Find relevant information from the dashboard without manually searching through different sections.
3. Get answers in simple language
Ask questions naturally instead of figuring out where to find specific information in the dashboard.
4. Save time on routine analysis
Use your AI assistant to retrieve available data and summarize the information you need.
What should you keep in mind?
BIK MCP currently provides read-only access to your store’s dashboard data. It can retrieve and help analyze available information, but it cannot create, edit, schedule, or send campaigns/ journeys. We will soon be releasing these capabilities as well.
The answers you receive depend on the tools and data currently supported. Some comparisons or insights may require data that is not yet available through MCP.

How to connect BIK MCP
You can connect BIK to a supported AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude.

Step 1: Open ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT Plugins: https://chatgpt.com/plugins , choose the option to add a custom app or MCP server.
Step 2: Enter your BIK connection details
Go to your BIK dashboard : https://dashboard.bik.ai/settings/ai-apps
Copy the server URL & Auth key

Step 4: Configure the Custom MCP Connection
Paste the Server URL into the Connection field and the Auth Key into the OAuth Client ID field. Accept the consent request and click Create Plugin to complete the setup.
Step 5: When prompted, sign in using your BIK Admin account.
Step 6: Approve access
Review the requested permissions and authorize the connection.
Step 7: Start asking questions
Open a chat, enable or select the BIK connection if required, and ask a question about your store’s available data.

Step 1: Open Claude
Go to Claude and open Settings → Connectors : https://claude.ai/new#customize/connectors/yours
Step 2: Add a custom connector
Select Add custom connector.
Step 3: Enter your BIK connection details
Paste the BIK MCP server URL from https://dashboard.bik.ai/settings/ai-apps , name the connector BIK and click Continue
Step 3: Paste OAuth Client ID
Copy Auth Key from BIK dashboard & paste it in OAuth Client ID as shown below. Click on Add button & connect
Step 4: Approve access
Review the requested permissions and authorize Claude to connect to your BIK account.
Step 6: Start asking questions
Open a conversation in Claude and use the BIK connector to ask questions about your store’s available data.
Note: The exact setup screens and availability of custom MCP connections may vary depending on your AI assistant’s plan and settings.
What data can BIK MCP access?
BIK MCP currently provides read-only access to your store’s dashboard data.
The exact data available depends on the tools enabled for your connection.

We’re continuously adding more tools to make it easier to explore your store’s data through AI assistants.
Is the connection safe?
BIK MCP currently provides read-only access. This means the available tools can retrieve data but cannot modify your store’s information or make changes to your campaigns.
You must authenticate with your BIK account and authorize the connection before the AI assistant can access the permitted data.
Always review the permissions requested during setup and follow your organization’s data access policies.
