Our new Automatic Retry Infrastructure for WhatsApp campaigns enhances message delivery efficiency, allowing automatic retries for messages that initially encountered delivery issues.
This feature provides greater control and flexibility in ensuring your messages reach the intended recipients.
Key Benefits
Automatic Retrying
Messages that fail to deliver due to valid, temporary errors (e.g., frequency capping) are now eligible for automatic redelivery. This mechanism helps improve overall reach by giving undelivered messages another opportunity for successful delivery.
Custom Delay Configuration
Users can set a specific delay between the original message attempt and the retry attempt. This adjustable timing allows for fine-tuned control of retry intervals, making it adaptable to your campaign strategy.
You can configure upto 3 retries for each campaign.
How to Configure the Automatic Retry Feature:
In the last tab of Campaigns, look for Automatic retry for failed messages checkbox and enable it.
After enabling it you it will ask to select hours from the drop down, select a duration with minimum of 6 Hrs for the first retry and click on Add Retry to add more retires upto 3
for the third retry minimum delay starts from 12 hrs.
After the specified time from the campaign executed time, our system will retry campaign to the failed customers.
The second and third retries will be triggered based on the preceding campaign's triggered time, rather than the parent broadcast's triggered time.
Identification of Retry Campaign:
To know if retries are configured for a campaign we show a count just beside the channel icon, by this you can know that there are reties are configured for that specific campaign.
If the retry campaign are triggered for that campaign we display a button to show all the child campaign of that specific campaign.
When clicked it will take you to a screen where all the retry campaigns along with parent campaign are listed.
On the campaign details page, if a retry campaign exists for the selected campaign, a CTA will appear, allowing you to navigate directly to the retry campaign listing page.
Similarly, on the retry campaign page, a CTA will take you to the same screen.

Cancel Retry Campaigns
We’re pleased to introduce a new enhancement that allows you to cancel pending retry attempts for WhatsApp campaigns that have retry enabled.
Only the remaining retry messages that are still pending will be cancelled. Once cancelled, these retries cannot be re-initiated automatically.
To provide better visibility, the Broadcast Details screen now includes:
Updated analytics reflecting the status of cancelled retries
Clear in-product warnings and status indicators
A dropdown view where cancelled retries can also be tracked
This functionality is also available for MM-Lite campaigns.
The ‘Cancel Retries’ option will be visible only when there are active pending retries. If all retries have already been completed, the option will not appear.

While you can adjust retry settings before a campaign is sent, changes to delay settings for retries cannot be made once a campaign is active.
