What is Multistore?
Multistore lets one BIK account manage more than one Shopify store. Instead of creating a separate BIK login for every store you run, you connect all of them under a single account and switch between them wherever needed — channels, AI training, journeys, helpdesk, everything.
Think of it as one dashboard, many storefronts.
What problem does it solve?
Merchants who run multiple brands (or the same brand across regions) used to need separate BIK accounts for each store — separate logins, separate AI training, separate everything. That's a pain when your team is the same and you just want to manage things in one place.
Multistore fixes this: one account, multiple stores, each store still keeps its own identity (its own channels, its own AI knowledge, its own journeys), but you don't have to juggle logins.
Where it fits
Multistore isn't a separate product — it's baked into the core settings that already exist:
Settings → Store → Store management — this is where stores are added and connected.
Settings → Store → Connect channels — each store has its own WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Live Chat, and Email connections.
Journeys — automations are built and tagged per store/channel.
Helpdesk — every ticket shows which store it came from, so agents always know the context.
How to use it
Step 1: Add a new store
Go to Settings → Store → Store management.
Click + New store (top right).
In the Add new store popup, enter the Store domain (your
.myshopify.comhandle) and a Short code (a quick 4–7 letter tag to identify the store at a glance, e.g.MANIFES).Click Connect.
You'll see a "Connecting your Shopify store to BIK" loader — this pulls in products and collections from that Shopify store.
Your first store is marked Primary automatically. Every store you add after that shows up in the same Store manager list, with its own Short Code, Channels, and Webhook Status.
Step 2: Connect channels for the new store
Click Connect next to the store's row (under the Channels column).
On the Connect channels page, pick from WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Live Chat, or Email — connect whichever ones this store needs.
Note the store selector at the top right of this page — always double check you're connecting channels to the right store before you click Connect.
Once connected, the store row shows small icons for each live channel (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) instead of just "Connect."
Step 3: Train the AI for that store
Each store has its own AI knowledge base — one store's FAQs don't leak into another's.
Pick the store you want to train from the Select store dropdown.
Add FAQs, product-specific answers, discounts, shipping/return policies, etc. BIK will flag similar FAQs already in the list so you don't create duplicates.
You can also train the bot directly from a live conversation in Helpdesk — reply, then use Train your bot to turn that answer into a reusable FAQ on the spot.
Step 4: Build journeys per store/channel
Go to Journeys, click + New journey.
Journeys (like "Sam test insta") are built for a specific channel of a specific store — the flow builder shows nodes like Starting Point, AI Assistant, Messages, and Email Replies, all wired together visually.
Use Test flow before going live to check for errors.
Important: Separate AI training needs Manifest installed on that store too
You can connect as many Shopify store domains to your BIK account as you want — that part just needs the domain and a short code (Step 1).
But for a store to get its own separate AI training, that Shopify domain needs to have Manifest AI installed on it as well, not just BIK.
If a store domain has only BIK installed → it doesn't get its own independent training page yet.
If a store domain has BIK + Manifest installed → clicking AI Training for that store (from the ⋮ menu in Store manager) opens a "Select training method" popup, where the training method is Sync with Manifest.
Clicking Go to AI Training takes you into that store's own Manifest dashboard (Skills, Data sources, Product guidance, etc.) — completely separate from any other store's training.
So in short: one training page per store that has Manifest installed on it.
A store without Manifest won't get this separate training page — it'll fall back to whatever the primary/default training setup is.
Rule: AI block picks training data based on the store it's running for.
When a journey's AI Assistant block runs, it always pulls training data from the store that block/journey belongs to — not from any other store connected to the account.
Example: if the AI block runs for Store A, it answers using Store A's FAQs and product data. If it runs for Store B, it switches to Store B's data. The two never mix, even though both stores sit under the same BIK account.
This is why Step 1 (getting the store selector right) matters so much — an AI block wired to the wrong store will confidently answer with the wrong store's info.
