Product Block in Email Builder

Product block in email builder is used to send product cards to the customers through email channel

In the email builder, there are two types of product blocks that allow you to add product cards to your email:

  1. Dynamic Product Block

    • Automatically pulls products based on a product feed.

  2. Static Product Block

    • Allows you to manually add products to the email.

Types of Dynamic Product Feeds:

  • Best Selling Products

    • These are the top-performing products that have generated the highest number of sales.

  • Newest Products

    • The latest additions to the store's inventory.

  • Most Viewed

    • These products have captured the attention of a large number of visitors

  • Abandoned Cart Items

    • Items that customers have added to their shopping cart but did not complete the purchase

  • Ordered Products

    • A list of items that customers have recently ordered.

  • Single Product

    • Single product block will allow us to share product details for events where user interacted like add to cart event or product viewed events

  • Cross-Selling Products

    • These are complementary products recommended as part of a cross-selling strategy. When certain events, such as a product view, are triggered, Shopify will automatically share any complementary products that have been set up for the item, encouraging customers to explore related options.

  • Similar Products

    • These products are automatically generated based on the items you add in Shopify. Shopify analyses your inventory and suggests similar products, helping customers discover more options that align with their interests.

Setting Similar products and Cross Selling products in Shopify:

Both similar and cross-selling products are fetched from Shopify and are displayed only if products have been added in Shopify.

For similar products, we also display additional suggestions provided by Shopify, beyond the products you’ve added. However, for cross-selling products, only those explicitly added in Shopify will be shown.

Front End events should be enabled for most viewed products to populate
