Email Forwarding with Alias & Google Groups

BIK Helpdesk now supports email forwarding through alias emails and Google Groups, making it easier to manage and respond to emails efficiently.

1. Reply via Alias Email ID

  • If you have an alias properly set up, emails sent to that alias will appear in the BIK Helpdesk.

  • When replying, the 'From' email ID will match the alias that received the email.

  • This functionality is also supported in Journeys, allowing automated replies using alias emails.


2. Google Groups Support

  • If your connected BIK email ID or alias is part of a Google Group, emails received in that group will be visible in the BIK Helpdesk.

  • You can manage and respond to group emails directly from the Helpdesk.


How to Set Up an Alias

  1. Go to the BIK Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Settings and click on Channel Management.

  3. Select the email where you want to add an alias under the Emails section.

  4. Click 'Edit', check the checkbox, and enter the alias email(s).

  5. Click 'Save Changes' to apply the updates.
