BIK provides capability of Mail automations for a brand to streamline & optimise email related tasks & processes.

Brief overview of gmail automation capabilities:

  1. Gmail Auto reply

  2. Gmail Canned responses

  3. Auto forwarding

  4. BIK Helpdesk rules & settings

Step 1 : Gmail to be connected on BIK

  • Go to settings page of bik dashboard(https://dashboard.bik.ai/settings/account)

  • Under settings page, Use channel management option to find the list of channels which can be connected in Bik

  • Here, you can connect multiple gmail accounts like highlighted below:

  • When you click on add another account, embedded sign up of google opens up, pls follow the procedure mentioned below to successfully connect the channel

Step 1: Select the relevant Gmail that you want to connect with BIK and continue with the Oauth flow of Gmail to grant all accesses to BIK







Step 2: Press continue and the account gets added

Step 2 : Setup Basic automations

Mail automations can be setup similar to whatsapp & IG from our journeys section(https://dashboard.bik.ai/journeys/home)

To setup mail automations, please click on Mail section on top navigation bar

Few basic automations like “Assign to agent, OOO auto reply” will be setup as part of library, brands can either edit them or make them live as per their convenience. Brands to review content as per brand guidelines before making any journey live.

New automations can be setup by clicking on new journey button on right section of our top navigation bar

Multi channel journeys can be setup on whatsapp & IG as well, but if the use case is of gmail automations only please select email as the option while setting up new journeys
