To help you monitor and improve your email domain reputation, BIK now supports Google Postmaster Tools integration. This feature enables real-time tracking of sender domain reputation for Gmail recipients and allows for automated campaign-level adjustments based on reputation health.
Integration Overview
With Google Postmaster integration, you can:
Gain visibility into your domain's sender reputation.
Identify deliverability issues early.
Enable automated frequency controls for low-performing domains.
Make informed decisions backed by reputation-based analytics.
How to Connect Google Postmaster in BIK
Go to Channel Management in the BIK Dashboard.
Click 'Connect Channels' under the Connected Channels section.
Select 'Google Postmaster' in Email Marketing and click 'Connect'.
Choose the appropriate Google Account and add it.
A success message will confirm the connection.
To track multiple domains, use the ‘Add More Domain’ option.
Limits email frequency to one per week per user when Smart Settings are active.
Google will provide a TXT verification record for each sender domain. This record must be added to your domain’s DNS settings for verification.
Once verified, Google will begin tracking the domain’s reputation for all emails sent to Gmail recipients.
Reputation-Based Campaign Adjustments
BIK dynamically adjusts campaign sending behavior based on domain reputation insights from Google Postmaster:
Domain Reputation | Campaign Behavior |
Good | No restriction |
Low | Max 2 emails/user/week |
Bad | Max 1 email/user/week |
Unverified | No restrictions, but warnings encouraged |
Connecting unverified domains is highly recommended to understand potential deliverability risks.
UI Enhancements for Visibility & Prevention
To help you act proactively, domain reputation insights are integrated directly into campaign flows:
Broadcast Details Screen: Campaigns sent using low/bad reputation domains show visible warnings.
Analytics Page: Aggregated performance metrics (e.g., click rate, unsubscribe rate) are shown alongside domain reputation data.
Recovery Mode Prompt: If a domain’s reputation drops to "Low" or "Bad", users will see a modal suggesting Recovery Mode before sending the campaign.
