1. What is this?
Journeys let you send an RCS message as part of a WhatsApp flow. Instead of typing a message from scratch, you pick one of your existing RCS templates and drop it straight into the flow — same rich card, same buttons, same look your customer sees on RCS.
2. Before you start
RCS is a separate channel from WhatsApp, and it needs to be set up before it shows up as an option in Journeys.

Once RCS is integrated for your store, you're ready to use it inside Journeys.
3. How to add an RCS template in a Journey
Open the Journey Builder for the flow you're working on.
Click on a block's connector to add a new step, and select Whatsapp.
Under Generic message, choose Send RCS message.
A list of your RCS templates opens up. Pick the template you want to use.
On the template preview screen, check Edit buttons on the right. This shows the links tied to each CTA button on the card.
Click Select template to add it to your flow.
That's it , the block now shows up in your journey as an RCS message node, ready to connect to the rest of your flow.
Preconfigured CTA links are locked. If a button on the template already has a URL set, that's the URL your customer will land on. The Journey Builder just shows you this link (under Edit buttons) — it doesn't let you override it from here. If you want a different URL, go edit it on the template itself, then come back and pick the template again.
QRBs don't work in Journeys. Quick Reply Buttons on an RCS template are built for standalone sends, and Journeys doesn't support them. So if the template you're picking has a QRB, plan around it — either use a template without one, or expect that button to not behave as intended once it's sent through a Journey.
