Fallback Step
Updated this week

Retargeting is now simple and super-powered!

Whenever you ask a user a question or give them options to choose from, now retarget them there itself with a delay if they do not respond!

Use cases

  1. LiveSpace: User drops of at any point in a series of questions. After a certain time of inactivity, send a re-engagement message to the user. If the user doesnt respond to that as well, call an API and create a drop off lead in Ozonotel

  2. Fireboltt : User drops off while giving their phone and email. Now set a time delay and nudge them there itself and help them continue the conversation where they dropped off

Steps:

  1. Create a Question Block (Ask phone, email, pincode, general question) / Quick Reply Button / List / Carousel

  2. Click on the fallback checkbox and set up a time window after which you would want to set a fallback flow

  3. Connect any block or flow to the fallback node

FAQs

2) What types of messages can I send in a fallback step?

You can send reminder messages, quick reply prompts, or connect users to another flow to continue the interaction.

3) Is it possible to add multiple fallback steps in a single flow?

Yes, you can incorporate multiple fallback steps at different stages to manage drop-offs effectively.

4) Can fallback steps be customised for specific use cases?

Yes, you can customise the fallback flow, message content, and delay duration based on your business needs.
