  • BIK has created Widgets/Pop Ups that can be added to your website.

  • Read more about them here on our website.


Platforms supported


  • The BIK chat Popups are compatible with all Shopify as well as non-Shopify websites.

  • For non-Shopify stores, it is necessary that a script tag can be injected into the non-Shopify website. This can be generated, while publishing the widget (last step of the process).

  • Lead generation popups discussed ahead are only compatible with Shopify websites as they require coupons/discounts to function. To enable them on custom integrations, pls reach out to [email protected].

Create a Popup

  1. Click here to go to our Popup section

  2. Click on ‘Create Popup’ button on the top right corner


  3. Select the type of widget and the template on the next screen


  4. Click on ‘Customise’ to start customising any widget that you want to go live with.

Customisation

With all widgets, the customer gets to change the floating action button designs, including the button position and button size.


Analytics

The status and performance of widgets can be viewed by going to the ‘Web Widget’ section under the ‘Acquisition’ tab. There in the following related information would be available:

  1. Status of Widgets

  2. Live Date

  3. Total Visitors

  4. Widget Viewed

  5. New Leads

  • For lead gen widgets: Conversion (defined when the issued promo is used to place an order)

  • For chat widgets: Conversation started (defined when the user sends first message)

This can also be used to download the analytics data as well as Edit, Delete or Hide/Unhide the widget



Lead Generation / Gamification Widgets


Lead generation widgets helps in acquiring new customers with the help of discounts, offers and gamification.

Types of lead generation widgets :

There are 5 types of lead gen widgets that are available via the BIK Platform

  1. Click on the type of widget as ‘Lead Generation widgets’.


  2. Hover over the template to see the option of ‘Preview’ and ‘Customize’. To see how it is going to appear on the website, you can click on ‘Preview’.


  3. Once the preview window appears, you can click on the ‘Customize’ option to edit the details of the widget.


  4. A new page will appear with a form for creating the widget. You can fill in all the details and click on ‘Save Changes’ in the top right corner to save the details.


  5. To make the widget live, click on ‘Publish’ button, next to the ‘Save Changes’ button in the top right corner.

2. Coupon Codes

  1. For widgets/Gamification, coupon codes can be set up on Shopify from the Bik dashboard

  2. Bik widgets allow the creation/usage of both dynamic & static coupons

  3. Static coupons need to be created on the merchant Shopify discount module & can be used on bik widgets during the creation/setup of widgets

  4. Dynamic coupons can be created directly via Bik platform during the creation/setup of widgets

  5. We allow the following Dynamic price rules of Shopify to be set up on Bik

    1. Buy X Get Y free

    2. Fixed Amount

    3. Percentage

    4. Free shipping

    .

  6. The probability of each offer can be defined, the sum of which must be equal to 1.0

Chat widgets


Chat redirection widgets are good entry points for your customers to interact with your support team in real time leveraging the most commonly used communication channels (whatsapp, instagram, messenger and live chat on website as well)

Types of Chat Widgets

There are 3 types of Widgets that are available via the BIK Platform

  1. Click on ‘Create Widget’ button on the top right corner.


  2. Click on the type of widget as ‘Chat redirection’.

Other growth tools


  • In addition to website widgets, we also enable brands to create URLs and QR codes that redirect to WhatsApp, Instagram or Messenger with appropriate context, analytics and connected chat flows.

  • These can be used to run growth campaigns on social media or offline channels (like sending printed cards with packaged items).


Growth URLs (On request)

  • These are URLs, which can take the users to brand’s WA, IG or Messenger chats.

  • Brand can select the destination channel while setting up the URLs.

  • Some common use cases to use growth URLs can be:

    • Run social media campaigns via influences. Each influencer can have a unique URL which can provide attribution to that particular influence.

    • Run other social or email campaigns to drive traffic to brand’s conversational channels.

  • With BIK’s growth URLs, brands can also connect chat-flows.

    • Users coming through these URLs, will trigger specific chat-flows after their first message.

    • This will create a personalised experience for the users and will also maintain the right context for them.

How to create & publish a new growth URL campaign?

  1. Go to ‘Acquisitions’ → ‘Growth tools’

  2. Select ‘URL generator’


  3. Select destination channel


  4. On customisation screen set all the required fields


  5. Once all the details are filled, tap on ‘Save and generate link’ button at the bottom.

Growth QR codes


  • BIK’s growth QR codes can be used for offline user acquisitions.

  • If a user scans these QR codes:

    • They are redirected to any conversational channel of the brand (WA, IG or Messenger).

    • It will also trigger a specific personalised chat-flow for the user, after the user sends his first message.

  • The QR codes can be used in acquiring users from marketplaces like Amazon or Flipkart, where these codes can be sent along with the product packaging.

How to create & publish a new growth QR campaign?

  1. Got to ‘Acquisitions’ → ‘Growth tools’

  2. Select ‘QR generator’

  3. Select destination channel

  4. On customisation screen, set all the required fields

  5. Once done, ‘Save campaign’.

  6. Print the QR code and use as per your requirement.

What platforms are supported?

The BIK chat widgets are compatible with all Shopify as well as non-Shopify websites. For non-Shopify stores, it is necessary that a script tag can be injected into the non-Shopify website. How does the widget handle different screen sizes and resolutions?

The widgets are designed to be responsive and should adjust to the correct size on mobile screens. However, it is recommended to test the widgets on various mobile devices to ensure proper functionality.

Are there any known compatibility issues with certain browsers or operating systems?

BIK widgets commonly used web browsers includes Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge.

Are there any prerequisites for using widgets?

For non-Shopify websites, it is necessary to inject a script tag. And for lead gen widgets, a custom integration for managing rewards/coupons will be required (for which brand should contact BIK’s support team)

What if a user enters the wrong input?

The user will get an error in case a wrong input is made.

Can we preview the Widgets?

Widgets can be previewed by going under the customisation option on the right side. Users can check the preview on both Mobile and Desktop view.

Can I preview all the states of a lead gen widget?

Yes, under the preview of the widgets in the widgets customisation, users can select the state of the widget, they want to preview along with the changes.

Can we add a custom icon?

Custom icons can be uploaded as Image or Lottie based animations.

Can I enable or disable live chat on my website?

Yes. In the Bottom Drawer and Centrally Aligned Popup widget types, you can toggle live chat on or off by clicking the toggle button next to "Live chat."

How do I add a banner image to the widget?

To add a banner image to the widget, click the "Add banner image" button in the widget customization page. Then, select the image you want to use from your files.

How do I publish the widget on my website?

After completing all the customizations, click the "Publish" button on the top right corner of the widget customization page to display the widget on your website.

Can I change the background colour of the Direct Reward widget?

Yes, you can change the background color of the Direct Reward widget by clicking on the "Select a color" option and picking any color from the color picker tool.

Can I choose the places where I want to show the Lead Gen widget?

Yes, you can choose the places where you want to show the Lead Gen widget i.e., Home page, Product Description page, Collections page & any custom URL. This option is present at the ‘Visibility’ step while customising a widget.

How do I set the automatic appearance of the Lead gen widget?

To set the automatic appearance of the Direct Reward widget, toggle the option and set the values for the following options: Time Delays, Page Scroll, and View Limits.
