Email Best Practices

  • Test subject lines using sendcheckit.com/email-subject-line-tester. Aim for a score above 100 to 105; scores below are not recommended.

  • Add image URLs when incorporating images in the emailer.

  • Keep the emailer size as low as possible, preferably less than 1 MB.

  • Personalize subject lines, e.g., use "Hey {{customer name}}."

  • Avoid spammy words like Sale, Hurry UP, Hurry now, Last Day, 50% off, etc.

  • Follow warm-up procedures for the initial 2 weeks.

Segmentation for Campaigns:

  • Warmup 1: Customers who placed an order once in the last 30 days with a count less than 1k.

  • Warmup 2: Customers who placed an order once in the last 60 days with a count less than 2x.

  • Warmup 3: Customers who placed an order once in the last 90 days.

  • Warmup 4: Customers who read in the last 30 days or 60 days, depending on the number, with a count higher than Warmup 3.

  • Warmup 5: Customers who clicked in the last 30 days or 60 days, depending on the number, with a count higher than Warmup 4.

  • Warmup 6: Customers who added to cart, abandoned checkout, and clicked messages of the previous 2 campaigns.
