Product Carousel Templates in Campaigns

A product carousel helps showcase products in an engaging, scrollable format. This feature allows you to select products for the campaign, but note that product variables are not supported in the body of the carousel. Additionally, the carousel block will not trigger if any of the selected products are out of stock. Ensure all selected products are in stock before starting the campaign.


Steps to Add a Product Carousel During a Campaign:

1. Navigate to the Campaign Overview:

In the BIK dashboard, go to the campaign overview screen and initiate the campaign.


2. Select the WhatsApp Channel:

  1. Choose the WhatsApp channel for your campaign.

  2. Enter the necessary details such as the campaign name and segment details.

  3. Click the Next button.


3. Choose Product Carousel Template:

Select the Product Carousel template from the list of available templates.


4. Product Carousel Messages:

There are two main messages:

  1. Product Carousel Message: Contains general campaign messages (including message variables) associated with the carousel.

  2. Product List: Displays the list of products included in the carousel.


5. Add Products:

Click on "Add products" to include products in the carousel.


6. Edit or Delete Products:

You can edit or remove any of the selected products from the carousel.


7. Rearrange Products:

To rearrange the products, click on the Selected Products or Rearrange Products option.


8. Edit Message Variables and Buttons:

Edit the product message variables and buttons by clicking the Edit button for the respective product.


9. Save the Template:

After making your changes, click on Save & Select Template.


10. Proceed to Campaign Schedule:

  1. Click Next and provide the campaign schedule details.

  2. Enter other required campaign information.


11. Start the Campaign:

Click the Start Campaign button and confirm to initiate the campaign.


FAQs

1) What happens if one of my selected products is out of stock?

If any of the selected products are out of stock, the product carousel block will not be triggered. Ensure all products are in stock before launching the campaign.

2) Can I use the product carousel for other channels?
No, the product carousel feature is exclusively available for the WhatsApp channel.

3) Can I use product variables in the body of the product carousel?

No, product variables are not supported in the body of the carousel.
