Send Campaigns from BIK Dashboard

BIK campaigns empower you to target the right audience, on the right channel, with the right content, at the right time to improve customer engagement & ROI on your marketing spends.

You can start a campaign by clicking on the ‘Start campaign’ button in the ‘Campaigns’ tab or there are multiple entry points from where you can start a campaign other than campaign overview screen.

  • Segment listing screen

    This is the screen where all the segments are listed and you can start campaign by clicking on the start campaign button from the options of the segment.

  • Segment details screen

    After clicking on a segment you can start a campaign by clicking on the start campaign button in Details screen.

  • Excel upload screen

    After successful upload of excel you get to see a send broadcast button in the modal itself.

  • Template Listing screen

    When hovered on a template in template screen you can find a send campaign button which will start the broadcast flow.

After you starting campaign from any one of the above screen, you will be displayed a modal to select channel to engage your customers except in case of template listing screen

Bik helps you engage with your customers on three channels:

  1. WhatsApp

  2. Email

  3. SMS

After selecting channel in the modal, these are the steps involved in creating the campaign.

WhatsApp Campaign:

Step 1: Add Campaign Details:

  • Enter a campaign name.

  • Select the segments of customers you wish to target with the campaign.

  • You can select multiple segments up to 5 to send a campaign.

  • You can also add segments whom you want to exclude from sending the campaign

  • If you have multiple WhatsApp numbers added then you can select them from drop down in this step.

Step 2: Select and Customise Template:

  • After adding campaign details, proceed to the next step.

  • Choose the template you want to send from the available options.

  • Click on the template to select it and it opens a modal to edit variables

  • Click on the edit icon beside the variable to edit variables.

  • If you are selecting any product carousel you can add products in this step.

  • Save the changes and proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Review and Finalise:

  • In this step, review the campaign details including the template and targeted segments.

  • Verify the content for accuracy.

  • Send a test campaign to ensure everything looks correct.

  • Estimate the cost for the campaign.

  • You can schedule the campaign to be sent immediately or at a later time.

  • You can also configure to send opt out messages in this step, for this you need to have an approved out out template.


Email Campaign:

Step 1: Add Campaign Details:.

  • Enter Subject, preheader, sender name and domain you want to use along with reply to email address.

  • Select the segments of customers you wish to target with the campaign.

  • You can select multiple segments up to 5 to send a campaign.

  • You can also add segments whom you want to exclude from sending the campaign

Step 2: Select and Customise Template:

  • After adding campaign details, proceed to the next step.

  • Choose the template you want to send from the available options.

  • Click on the template to select it and it opens a modal to edit variables

  • Click on the edit icon beside the variable to edit variables.

  • Save the changes and proceed to the next step.

SMS Campaign:

Step 1: Add Campaign Details:.

  • Enter a campaign name.

  • Select the segments of customers you wish to target with the campaign.

  • here you can select multiple segments up to 5 to send a campaign.

  • You can also add segments whom you want to exclude from sending the campaign.

Step 2: Select and Customise Template:

  • After adding campaign details, proceed to the next step.

  • Choose the template you want to send from the available options.

  • Click on the template to select it and it opens a modal to edit variables

  • Click on the edit icon beside the variable to edit variables.

  • Save the changes and proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Review and Finalise:

  • In this step, review the campaign details including the template and targeted segments.

  • If you have multiple headers configured, then you can select headers from the drop down in this step.

  • Verify the content for accuracy.

  • Send a test campaign to ensure everything looks correct.

  • Estimate the cost for the campaign.

  • You can schedule the campaign to be sent immediately or at a later time.


Test Campaign

Test campaign is to verify how your actual campaign looks after receiving the message or mail. It is advised to send a test campaign before sending the actual campaign.


Broadcast overview:

After sending the campaign you can see the campaign name in overview screen along with other details like

  • Segment name,

  • Date executed,

  • Revenue/orders from the campaign if any,

  • Read rate and click rate,

  • ROI

  • Channel of the campaign


FAQs


1) Can I create campaigns for multiple channels at once?

Currently, we can only send one campaign for a particular channel.

2) Can I send campaigns to customers who have opted-out of promotional updates?

No, in order to respect the privacy of your customers, we block any promotional messages being sent to customers who have opted-out. This also helps reduce blocks from customers and increase your quality rating.

3) Can I edit or cancel a scheduled campaign?

Yes, you can find an option to ‘Edit’ or ‘Cancel’ a scheduled campaign in the ‘Campaigns overview’ table.

4) Can I cancel a processed campaign?

Yes, you have a option to cancel a campaign until it is sent to all customers. But please note that the campaign will be cancelled to the customer to whom messages are not yet sent.


5) How many customer segments can I select for a single campaign?

You can select segments up to 5 for each campaign
