Campaigns now support both Dynamic and Static Discount Codes, enabling you to share special promotions and discounts directly with your audience.
This feature provides flexibility by allowing you to configure discount codes and integrate them with your messaging templates, making campaigns more impactful.

Dynamic & Static Discount Code Configuration:
Template Configuration Settings (TCS)
The TCS (Template Configuration Settings) allows you to specify which discount code type and variables are available for each campaign. To use discount codes in Email or WhatsApp templates:
Select the Discount Code option within the TCS.
Specify variables based on the type of discount code you’re configuring (dynamic or static).
Use the following variables in your template:
code - Discount code text
title - Title or label of the discount
value - Discount amount or percentage (dynamic codes only for percentage or amount-based codes)
expire_at - Expiration date (for dynamic codes if specified)
Note: Ensure TCS is set up correctly to utilize discount codes within your campaign templates.
Steps to add Discount Codes in Campaigns
1. Add discount code Variables while creating Email and WhatsApp templates to create codes while sending Campaigns.
2. Create Static or Dynamic Shopify discount codes using Discount code generator.
This modal will only visible if there are any discount code variables in the template.
3. Add or Remove the variables that are not needed or if they are not supported.
1. Dynamic Discount Codes
Dynamic codes allow for personalized discount values and expiration settings, configured during campaign setup.
Supported Variables:
Percentage or Amount-Based Codes:
code - The discount code
title - The title or name of the discount
value - The discount amount or percentage
expire_at - Expiration date for the discount
For Other Types of Dynamic Codes:
code - The discount code
title - The title or name of the discount
expire_at (if provided) - Expiration date for the discount
Expiration Handling:
If you do not specify an expiration date (expire_at) during code generation, this variable should be omitted while changing the variables.
2. Static Discount Codes
Static codes are consistent and pre-defined discount codes shared across all recipients, making them easy to reuse in multiple campaigns.
Supported Variables:
title - The title or name of the discount
code - The discount code
Discount Code in LTO an Copy Code templates
You can add discount code you have generated in copy code button of LTO and Copy Code templates.
Discount Code variables are not mandatory to add in the LTO and CC templates to get the discount code modal.
When ever you select a LTO or Copy Code template you will get the Discount code generation modal.
Expiry is mandatory for LTO template
Shopify Static Codes with special characters are not supported in LTO template.

1. What variables are available for Static Discount Codes?
A: Static Discount Codes support the title and code variables, which remain the same for all recipients.
2. What happens if I don’t specify an expiration date for Dynamic Codes?
A: If you do not specify an expire_at value during code generation, the expiry at date will be empty and template selection will be failed.
3. What types of discount codes are supported in campaigns?
A: Campaigns now support both Dynamic and Static Discount Codes. Dynamic codes are personalized for each recipient , while static codes which are created in Shopify are consistent and reusable across all recipients.
4. Can I send discount code in LTO with out expiry?
A: No you cannot send discount code in LTO without expiry.
