3. Limited Time Offer (LTO) Template

4. Product Carousel

5. Media Carousel

Normal WhatsApp Template:

BIK supports the integration of multiple Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons and Quick Reply Buttons (QRB) within the Normal Template.

You can use these templates as utility templates to send order updates, event updates and more.

You can also add document header, text headers which you cannot add in the carousel type of template.

You can only add one variable in the text header and only PDF files are accepted in document section.

You cannot add multiple phone buttons in the same normal template.

Steps for creating Normal template:

  1. Click on create new template button.

  2. Enter the template name.

  3. Select template category.

  4. Select the message type as Normal Message.

  5. Select the sub-category which is optional.

  6. Click on save and continue.

  7. After filling all the required fields Save the template, you can also save it as draft if you want to make any changes in future.

Copy Code Template:

You can now seamlessly include coupon codes within your templates.

This feature allows you to offer discounts, promotions, or special deals directly to your audience through your templates.

These coupon codes can be copied to clipboard directly by clicking on the copy code button unlike QRB.

There are some restrictions involved in this type of template:

  • Alpha-Numeric Codes without Spaces: Coupon codes must be alpha-numeric (containing both letters and numbers) and should not include spaces.

  • Limitation on Coupon Code Placement: Only the first button within the template can be designated as a coupon code. For this reason, we block the drag and drop option for the copy code button.

Steps for creating Copy Code template:

  1. Click on create new template button.

  2. Enter the template name.

  3. Select template category.

  4. Select the message type as Normal Message.

  5. Select the sub-category which is optional.

  6. Click on save and continue.

  7. Add Coupon code in the buttons and add sample Coupon code (you can edit it while sending campaign)

Limited Time Offers (LTO) in Templates:

With this feature, you can seamlessly include limited-time offers within your templates. This capability allows you to promote time-sensitive deals, discounts, or promotions directly to your audience through WhatsApp.

Define Validity Period: During the broadcast sending process, you can define the validity period of the offer.

There are some restrictions involved in LTO template:

  • Limitation on Coupon Code Placement: Only the first button within the template can be designated as a coupon code. For this reason, we block the drag and drop option for the copy code button.

  • URL Buttons as 2nd Button: In LTO scenarios, only URL buttons can be used as the second button within the template. To make this easier, we disable other buttons when the LTO checkbox is selected and display an error message if no second button is selected.

  • Alpha-Numeric Sample Codes: To maintain consistency and compatibility, sample codes for the limited-time offers must be alpha-numeric, without spaces. This format ensures ease of use and prevents potential errors during code redemption.

  • Handling Past-Dated Offers: If a recipient receives a broadcast with a past-dated offer, the "copy code" button will be omitted from the message. This indicates to the recipient that the offer has expired, preventing confusion and managing expectations effectively.

  • Text Headers and Footers: Templates with text type of headers are not allowed for LTO templates. For this reason, we disable text header and footers whenever the LTO checkbox is selected and show a tooltip if they are selected before selecting the LTO checkbox.
