We have added support for handling location messages within Helpdesk and Marketing chats for the WhatsApp channel. This feature enhances communication between agents and customers, allowing for seamless sharing and viewing of locations via WhatsApp.

Key Features:

  • View Location: The customer can share a location via WhatsApp, and it will appear in the chat. Agent can view the location in both Helpdesk and Marketing chats by clicking the "View Location" button, which opens Google Maps.

  • Reply: Agents can respond to the customer's message as they would normally within Helpdesk chat.

1. How do I view a location shared by the customer?
Once the customer shares a location via WhatsApp, a "View Location" button will appear in the Helpdesk and Marketing chat. Simply click on this button to view the location in Google Maps.

2. Can agents share a location in response to a customer’s message?
No, agents cannot send a location message back. They can only reply to the customer’s shared location in the chat.

3. Is the location feature available for both Helpdesk and Marketing chats?
Yes, location messages are supported for both Helpdesk and Marketing chats on the WhatsApp channel.
