UX Changes for Improving WhatsApp Deliverability

Updated over a week ago

We’ve introduced powerful updates to help you optimize your WhatsApp campaigns, ensuring better performance and improved transparency around template quality and status changes.

Segment-Based Analytics 📊

You can now view aggregated analytics based on your final customer list, derived from the inclusion and exclusion segments you selected for your campaign.
Track engagement over the last 60 days across key metrics:

  • Received: Messages successfully delivered

  • 👀 Read: Messages opened by customers

  • 💬 Replied: Customers who responded

  • 🔗 Clicked: Link clicks within your messages

  • 🛍️ Ordered: Purchases made after interacting with your campaign

This enables more detailed insights into your campaign’s effectiveness across specific customer groups.

Template Quality Warnings ⚠️

While selecting a template during campaign creation, you will now receive an in-product warning if the selected template is classified as:

  • Medium Quality 🟡

  • Low Quality 🔴

Templates rated anything below High Quality will trigger a warning to help you make more informed decisions before sending your campaign.

Template Quality Impact After Sending 🏷️

After your campaign has been sent, if the template quality drops to Medium or Low, you will receive:

  • ⚠️ A warning on the Campaign Details page

  • 📧 An email notification informing you about the quality change and its potential impact

Monitoring template quality post-send ensures that you are aware of any risks affecting deliverability or engagement.

Template Status Impact After Sending 🏷️

If a template’s status changes to Paused or Disabled after your campaign is sent:

  • 🚫 The campaign will be aborted immediately

  • 📧 Clients will be notified via email

  • 📢 The reason for the campaign abortion will be clearly displayed on the Broadcast Details page

This protects you from continued spend or exposure on campaigns that can no longer proceed.

Handling Scheduled and Queued Campaigns ⏳

If the template status changes before a campaign is sent (i.e., when it’s in a Scheduled or Queued state):

  • The campaign will fail immediately

  • An explicit reason for the failure will be displayed

This ensures you are immediately alerted if there’s an issue before launch, giving you the opportunity to adjust your campaign proactively.

Summary

These updates bring greater control, better insights, and stronger protection to your WhatsApp marketing efforts. By keeping you informed at every stage — before, during, and after sending — you can maintain high campaign quality and maximize your engagement outcomes.

We don't show the analytics if we don't get the quality of the template from Meta.
