Collecting Leads Using Custom Fields in Widgets

Updated this week

We’re excited to introduce Custom Fields support in lead-collecting widgets! You can now tailor your lead capture experience by choosing the exact information you want to collect from your customers.

What’s New?

You can now add any Custom Fields you've created in your BIK Dashboard → Settings → Custom Fields directly into widgets like:

  • Price Drop Notifier

  • Back in Stock Notifier

  • Direct Reward Popup

  • Spin the Wheel Popup

  • Lead Generator

  • Scratch the Card

Types of Fields Supported:

You can configure up to 3 total fields in any widget (mandatory + optional combined). These include:

Standard Fields (System-defined)

  • Phone Number (WhatsApp)

  • Phone Number (SMS)

  • Email ID

Custom Fields (User-defined via Settings)

  • Single Line

  • Multi Line

  • Number

  • Date

  • Date Time

  • Checkbox

  • Dropdown

  • Multi-select Dropdown

⚠️ At least one Standard Mandatory Field must be selected.

How to Add Custom Fields to Widgets:

  1. Go to the widget you want to configure (e.g. Spin the Wheel).

  2. Navigate to the Lead Collection tab.

  3. Under “Select mandatory fields to collect leads”, choose at least one Standard Field.

  4. Optionally, you can add up to 2 more fields (Custom or Standard) under:

    • Mandatory Fields: Customer must fill these to submit the form.

    • Optional Fields: These are visible but not required.

  5. The selected fields will be shown in the popup.

  6. Once the user submits the popup, their custom field data gets saved under Customer → Custom Fields details in the dashboard.

Important Notes:

  • You can only select a maximum of 3 fields per widget (combining both mandatory and optional).

  • If a custom field used in a popup is deactivated or edited, the associated popup will be deactivated automatically. You’ll need to reconfigure it.

  • These fields are stored per customer and can be viewed/used in further automation or analysis.
