Revenue Attribution

Revenue attribution in campaigns assigns credit for sales to the various marketing touchpoints a customer interacts with on their buying journey. In BIK dashboard, you can configure revenue attribution and track your attributed orders/revenue.

Steps to configure revenue attribution

  • Visit settings in BIK Dashboard

  • Look for Revenue Attribution tab

  • Click on the edit button

  • Click on the days to edit

  • Click on the drop down to change attribution type

Types of Attribution

BIK offers three attribution models.

  • Click Based

  • Open Based

  • Delivery Based

Click Based: The order is attributed to the campaign or journey when a customer clicks on a link in the message.

Open Based: The order is attributed when a customer opens the message sent through a campaign or journey.

Delivery based : The order is attributed when a message is delivered to a customer through campaigns or journeys.

Attribution window:

This is the period where orders or revenue are attributed to the campaign or journey based on the chosen attribution type.

For example, if the window is set to 2 days and a customer clicks after that period, the order won't be attributed to that campaign.

Attribution through Popups:

Orders using a promo code from BIK's lead generation popups (spin the wheel, scratch cards) are attributed to the corresponding popup.

Track your attributed orders/revenue:

You can track revenue/orders in the BIK dashboard Analytics page. Separate tabs exist for Campaigns, Journeys, and Popups.
