A campaign report is a comprehensive analysis of various aspects of marketing campaigns conducted by a business or organisation. These reports provide valuable insights into the performance, impact, and effectiveness of marketing efforts, helping stakeholders make informed decisions and optimise future campaigns.

Types of Campaign Reports:

1. Campaign Performance Report:

This report offers comprehensive insights into each campaign, focusing on the following key metrics:

  • Target Audience: Details about the customers targeted in each campaign.

  • Template Details: Information on the email or message templates utilised in the campaign.

  • Delivery Metrics: Statistics regarding the success of message delivery, including delivery rates.

  • Engagement Metrics: Analysis of customer interactions with the campaign, such as email opens (reads), link clicks, and unsubscribe rates.

  • Revenue Metrics: Data on the revenue generated from each campaign.

  • Other Metrics: page viewed, product viewed, add to carts, purchased a product.

This report is essential for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing strategies and optimising future campaigns for better performance.


2. Campaign Order Attribution Report:

This report provides a detailed analysis of orders that can be directly attributed to your marketing campaigns within a specified time range. Key components of this report include:

  • Shopify Order ID: Unique identifier for each order placed as a result of the campaign.

  • Customer Details: Information about the customers who placed orders, including contact information.

  • Order Value: The total value of each order generated from the campaigns along with order date.

  • Campaign details: It will also have Campaign details like Campaign name, ID and channel of the campaign.

The Campaign Order Attribution Report is crucial for assessing the direct impact of your marketing efforts on sales and understanding customer purchasing behaviour triggered by specific campaigns.

This insight allows for refined marketing strategies and targeted campaign adjustments to enhance future outcomes.


3. Campaign Attribution (Products Purchased):

This report provides a detailed breakdown of orders attributed to marketing campaigns within a selected time frame, helping you understand the specific products that were influenced by your marketing activities. Key elements of this report include:

  • Shopify Order ID: Unique identifier for each order that can be traced back to specific marketing campaigns.

  • Customer Details: Comprehensive information about the customers who made purchases, including their contact details and other relevant demographic data.

  • Product Name: The names of the products purchased as a result of the campaign along with product ID.

  • Product Price: The price of each product at the time of purchase.

This product-focused attribution report is essential for analysing which items in your catalogue are performing well as a result of your marketing campaigns.

The data allows you to identify successful products and optimise your marketing strategies based on actual purchasing patterns, enhancing the effectiveness of future campaigns.


4. Customer-Wise Campaign Failure Report:

This report provides an in-depth analysis of campaign message failures, organised by customers, to help you identify and address issues in your marketing communications. Key features of this report include:

  • Customer Details: Information about each customer who experienced a failed message, including their contact information.

  • Reasons for Failure: Reason why each campaign message failed to reach the intended recipient along with channel name and error code.

  • Campaign Details: This also has a campaign ID and timestamp of the campaign sent.

This report can be generated from campaign details page if there are any failures.


5. Campaign Message Failure Report:

This report is essential for identifying and understanding the issues that prevent campaign messages from successfully reaching recipients at a campaign level. Each entry in the report is organised by campaign and includes the following information:

  • Campaign Details: Identifies the specific campaign associated with the message failure.

  • Reasons for Failure: Offers a comprehensive breakdown of why messages failed, such as email bounces, server issues, or spam filtering.

  • Number of failed

By analysing the reasons behind message failures, this report aids in pinpointing areas for improvement in your campaign strategy.

6. Opted-Out Customers Report:

This report provides vital information on customers who have chosen to unsubscribe or opt out of receiving your marketing communications. Key details included in the report are:

  • Customer Names: The full names of the customers who have opted out.

  • Phone Numbers: Contact numbers of the customers, if available.

  • Email Addresses: Email addresses through which the customers were receiving communications.

  • Opt-Out Dates: The specific dates on which each customer opted out.

This report is essential for maintaining compliance with marketing communication laws and respecting customer preferences.

It also helps you refine your communication strategies by understanding the characteristics and tendencies of customers who choose to opt out of your messages.

For any type of report you can only download 3 months old data.


Steps to Generate Reports:

  1. Visit reports page in BIK dashboard.

  2. Search for the report you want to generate.

  3. Click generate button to generate a report.

  4. Change the name of the report if needed, select date range and other parameters.

  5. After selecting all the details select generate and look for the report in history tab after some time .

  6. You will also get the mail when the report is ready along with the report attached.

  1. How can I know if the report is successfully generated?

    We send mail whenever the report is generated successfully and you can also check in reports history tab.

  2. What happens if a report is failed to generate?

    We also send an alert mail that the report generation failed along with the reason and that can also be viewed in the history tab.

  3. Is there any size limit of the report that can be generated?

    Yes we can only generate reports upto 5 MB, if the file size is more than 5MB we send a partial file to the mail and a message stating that the report generation failed.
