Price Please Automation:

  • PP is ‘price please’. Automate your reply to PP comments on ads/posts, reels and stories. Send product card in DM (direct message) and increase revenue through Instagram channel

  • PP is ‘price please’. Buyers typically ask for pp in response to an ads/posts, reels and stories. These response can be in form of comment against that ads/posts, reels and stories.

  • Brands can set ‘PP automations’ on their Instagram page so that any queries by customers on their IG posts or reels around price of the product will be answered via an automation.


Configuration of Price Please Automation:

1. Navigation to Price Please Automation:

  • Access price-please automation from Journeys in the BIK dashboard.

  • Select "Price Please Automation" from submenu to configure the PP feature.


2. Account selection:

  • In the "Link Products" tab, you can view the account associated with each post, reel, and story during selection.

  • Use the dropdown menu to select the desired account and view its ads, reels, posts, and stories.


3. Mapping Products with Post and ADs:

Map with AI:

  • Products can be automatically mapped based on the caption of posts and reels.

  • You have to enable "AI product mapping" from BIK AI toggle.

  • Click on "Map with AI" in post/reels/ADs. It will map the products by using AI.

  • If the total number of products exceeds 5,000, the product mapping toggle will be disabled.

Manual Mapping:

  • You can use the "+" button in the posts, reels, stories or ads to manually add products.

  • Select products and click on "Add" button

  • You can select upto 10 products for each post/ reels/ ADs and stories

  • You can edit and delete the mapped products by using edit or delete icon.

Auto-tagging won’t work in stories because there is no caption in stories.


4. Product re-arrangement:

  • You can rearrange the selected products by clicking "no of selected products" in the product picker and drag and rearrange the products as per your need.

  • And click on "Done" for successful re-arrangement.

The sequence in which the product is arranged in the product picker, same sequence is followed on sharing the products to the customer via PP Automation.


5. Auto Save:

Your changes in the "Link Products" tab will be saved automatically, without the need to click any button.


6. Analytics of Price Please Automation:

To access detailed insights for the Price Please automation, simply click on "View detailed insights"


7. Active/ Inactive PP for accounts:

You can manage the activation status of Instagram accounts for Price Please by toggling the active button located at the top of the Price Please dashboard.


8. Configuring keywords/ Setup Automation:

  • You can customize the "Price Please" automation by specifying keywords or applying it to all keywords that trigger the automation.

  • To configure these settings, go to "Setup Automation" and define your desired keywords for the "Price Please" automation.

  • Comment filtering AI for negative comments is automatically applied to both specific and all keywords.

Comment filtering is enabled by default. If the sentiment is positive or neutral, we will send the PP message. Keywords check can still be configured.


9. Configuration of Reply for User's Comment:

  • To avoid account being flagged as spam, customize your responses to Users' comments on Instagram. Sending identical replies to all users can trigger spam filters.

  • To set up multiple reply variations for your Instagram account, go to the "Setup Automation" section and enter your comment reply. The AI will then generate up to 20 similar responses.

  • If needed, you can generate additional responses by clicking the "Generate More Comments" button, then click "Save Changes."

  • You can also delete any AI-generated comments if desired.

  • If you wish to alter the comment replies , you can simply click on "Regenerate All" button. AI will alter the comment replies accordingly. This feature is available for 20 comments.

Comment replies will be stopped if any store gets spammed and can be manually re-enabled from the backend or automatically after 7 days.


10. Direct message for user's comment:

  • This direct message will be sent to users who comment on posts, reels, or ads with specified keywords, along with the product message.

  • To set up this direct message, navigate to the "Set up automation" section.


11. Product message:

  • The product message will be sent along with the direct message to the user's DM. You can include up to two buttons in the product message.

  • To configure the product message, go to the "Set up automation" section and click on "Add button" to add the buttons to the product message.

  • You can choose between linking the button to a product page, a preconfigured journey, or a web URL.

  • The product page button in the product card will redirect users to the respective product page.


12. Price configuration for product message:

  • You can conceal the price in the product message by selecting the checkbox in the product message section within the setup automation settings.


13. Price please Automation Redirection / Retarget:

  • You can set up a redirect to another flow if the user does not click any of the buttons on the product dm.

  • To do this, select a journey to redirect Price Please users in the "After message sent" section of the setup automation.

  • Additionally, you can specify a waiting time for the redirection. After the specified time, the configured journey flow will be executed.


14. Preview:

  • In the preview section, you can preview both the product message and the fallback message.

  • Choose the appropriate option in the preview section to view the message previews.


15. Final set up:

  • Once you have completed the configuration of all the steps mentioned above, click on "Save Changes" in "Setup Automation" tab to successfully configure Price Please for your Instagram account.


16. PP Stories:

Setup automation will be common to stories & post for an account. To enable PP for stories, we need new permissions, so re-authentication is required.


Spam Detection:

  • Comment replies are auto-stopped after spam detection (DMs will still work).

  • Comment replies will be stopped if a store gets marked as spam, and will be automatically reinstated after 7 days.

  • Additionally, comment reply in IG triggers will also stop if marked as spam.

1. Is there a limit to the number of products I can map with post or ADs for PP automation?
Yes, you can map up to 10 products for one post, reel, or ad.

2. Can I edit or delete the mapped products?
You can edit or delete the mapped products for a specific post, reel, or ad by using the edit and delete buttons.

3. How can I track the performance of PP automation?
You can track the performance of PP automation by clicking on "View Detailed Insights" in PP. This allows you to view detailed analytics of the PP automation.
