We have made significant improvements to the Facebook (FB) Catalog feature to enhance your experience and streamline catalog management. Below is a detailed overview of the new features and enhancements.

Facebook Catalog Improvements:

1. New Home for Catalog Management

We’ve introduced a new, centralised location for managing your FB Catalog. This change makes it easier to access and manage all aspects of your catalog, ensuring a more intuitive experience.


2. Catalog and WABA Connection Validation

To ensure seamless integration, we've added a validation check between the onboarded catalog and the catalog connected to your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). If these catalogs do not match, you will be alerted with an error message. An option to reconnect the correct catalog will be provided, allowing you to resolve the issue quickly.


3. Sync Statistics

To provide better insights into your catalog's status, we have added detailed statistics from the last sync. These stats include:

  • Available Items: The total number of products currently available in the catalog.

  • Deleted Items: The number of products that have been removed from the catalog.

  • Invalid Items: The number of products flagged as invalid due to missing or incorrect data.


4. Manual Sync Trigger

A new button has been added to allow you to manually trigger a sync of your catalog with Facebook. This gives you greater control over the timing and frequency of your catalog updates, ensuring that your product listings are always up to date.

• To remove product(s) from appearing in your WhatsApp catalogue, add a tag of bik-hide to the product(s) on Shopify.
• Catalog will be synced regularly at an interval of 24 hrs. Any changes made in the catalog will be reflected here after some time.
• Contact support for catalogues with more than 20,000 products.

1) What if the onboarded catalog differs from the WABA-connected one?

You'll get an error and an option to reconnect the correct catalog.

2) Can I manually trigger a catalog sync?
Yes, a button is available for manual syncs. Use "sync" button to sync catalog manually
