With our new real-time message status feature, you’ll get immediate feedback on your messages in the chat window.

How It Works

  1. Instant Confirmation

    • As soon as you click “Send,” your message will appear in the chat window with a clock icon beside it.

    • This icon indicates that the message is currently being sent.

  1. Delivery Confirmation

    • Once the message is successfully delivered to the customer, the clock icon will switch to a checkmark.

  2. Failed message

    • If a message gets failed for some reason, the message bubble will turn red and once reloaded it will be vanished.

  3. Message Variables

    • If your message includes dynamic variables (e.g., customer names or order details), they’ll initially appear as placeholders.

    • Once processed, these placeholders will automatically update to show the actual values, ensuring clarity in your communication.

Feature Limitations:

  • This feature is not available for emails or for product messages sent directly from the Shopify store in the right panel.


FAQs

1. Can I use this feature for email messages?
No, this real-time message status feature is only available for chat messages. Emails and product messages from Shopify in the right panel do not currently support this functionality.

2. What does the clock icon next to my message mean?
The ⏰ clock icon next to your message means that it’s currently in the process of being sent. Once it’s successfully delivered to the customer, the icon will change to a ✅ checkmark.

3. Why do variables appear as placeholders initially?
When you send a message containing variables (e.g., customer names, order IDs), they’ll display as placeholders until processed. This allows the system to update the message with the correct information as soon as it’s ready.
