FAQs
1) Can I connect multiple Instagram pages for BIK?
Yes, you can connect multiple Instagram pages on BIK, but the flows would be page agnostic in BIK, i.e a ‘Welcome Flow’ in BIK can’t be instrumented at a page level
2) Will my customer’s comments on Instagram pages come in BIK?
Post 10-15 mins of your Instagram page connection, all comments would start reflecting in BIK’s Helpdesk tab
3) I have two pages on IG under 1 business account - will that work ?
Go to https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=business_toolsand enabling all the page permissions under "Business integrations" in BIK WA integration.
4) I want to run a specific automations/assignment on collaboration posts
There are two scenarios:
1. Where brand is tagged in collab posts 2. Where brand is not tagged in collab posts
Collab posts where brand is tagged, flows into BIK & generic automations can be setup without specificity
Meta has a limitation where it doesn’t send required identifier of it being a collaboration post, so we can run generic automations but not specific to a collaboration post similar to PP
5) Why am I seeing Meta or Instagram errors during Page Onboarding (e.g. “#-1 Unexpected internal error” or “#100: The page is not linked to an Instagram account”)?
These errors usually occur due to issues in the Facebook–Instagram account linkage or page permissions. Below are common causes and what you can do to fix them:
Error / Message | What it Means | Action to Resolve |
| A temporary internal issue from Meta’s servers. | Wait a few minutes and retry onboarding. If it persists, re-login to Facebook and try again. |
| You’re trying to send a private reply to a comment that already has one. | No further private replies can be sent for that comment. Try a different comment. |
| The Facebook Page you’re trying to onboard isn’t properly connected to an Instagram Business or Creator account. | Go to your Facebook Page → Settings → Linked Accounts → Instagram and ensure it’s connected to a Professional (Business/Creator) Instagram account. Then retry onboarding. |
| The user isn’t an admin of the page or has not enabled two-factor authentication. | Make sure you’re a Page Admin, not an Editor/Advertiser, and enable 2FA on your Facebook account. |
| The user’s comment privacy settings prevent private replies. | You won’t be able to reply privately to this user. Public replies are still possible. |
| Messaging is disabled for the Page. | Enable messaging in Facebook Page settings → General → Messages → Allow people to contact my Page privately. |
