Popup reports offer valuable insights into the performance and effectiveness of popups on a website. They typically include data on popup views, click-through rates (CTRs), conversion rates, and other engagement metrics. Analysing these reports helps website owners understand user interactions with their popups, allowing for optimisation for better performance and user experience.


Types of Available Popup Reports:

  • Links Clicked Report

  • New users Acquired

  • Popup Conversions

Links Clicked Report:

The Links Clicked report provides a summary of the URLs or links clicked by users on a popup. It includes the type of links used (web/checkout/cart/store) and the count of day-to-day link clicks, including the channel.

Available Data in Links Clicked Report:

  • Link type

    In popup reports, "Link Type" refers to the classification of links based on their purpose or destination. This categorisation helps identify the different types of links clicked by users in popups.

  • Channel

    Channel refers to the source or medium through which users interacted with the popup. It includes different channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.

  • Date of link click

    Date of link click in popup reports refers to the specific date when a user clicked on a link within a popup.

  • Total link clicks

    Total link clicks in popup reports refer to the overall number of times users clicked on links within popups during a specific period.


New Users Acquired Report:

The "New Users Acquired" report offers insights into the number of unique visitors or users who have interacted with a website or app for the first time during a specific period. It includes a list of all customers acquired, along with details on the channel and source (popups, growth tools, ask phone/email nodes in journeys, Ctwa, etc.).

Available Data in Users Acquired Report:

  • Source
    Source refers to the method (email, phone number, or popup) through which new users were acquired.

  • Channel

    Channel refers to the medium through which users interacted with the popup. It includes different channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.

  • Event type

    Event types in popup reports are categorised based on total users or unique users.

  • Dates

    Dates of link click in popup reports refers to the specific date when a user clicked on a link within a popup.

The Popup Conversions report offers valuable insights into the effectiveness of popups in converting website visitors into customers. It provides details on the orders placed via widgets, helping businesses understand the conversion impact of their popup strategies.

Available Data in Popup Conversions Report:

  • Order ID

    Order ID in popup reports is a unique identifier assigned to each order placed through a popup.

  • Ordered At

    Ordered At in popup reports indicates the date when an order was placed through a popup.

  • Discount code

    Discount code in popup reports refers to any discount code or coupon that was used by a customer during their purchase.

  • Order value

    Order value is the total monetary value of an order placed by a customer using the popup discount code.

  • First name

    First name is the name of the customers who purchased a product using the given popup discount code.

  • Last name

    Last name is the last name of the customers who purchased a product using the given popup discount code.

  • Phone number

  • Phone number

    Phone number in popup reports refers to the customer's contact number provided during the redemption of a discount code or offer within the popup.

  • Secondary phone number

    Secondary phone number refers to an additional contact number provided by the customer during the redemption of a discount code in a popup.

  • Email ID

    Email ID in popup reports refers to the email address of the customer who interacted with the popup.

  • Coupon code

    Discount code in popup reports refers to any discount code or coupon that was used by a customer during their purchase.

  • Disbursed at

    "Disbursed at" typically refers to the date and time when a discount code was distributed or made available for use by customers.

  • Purchased

    Purchased indicates whether a customer who interacted with a popup and received a discount code actually completed a purchase.

  • Order value

    Order value is the total monetary value of an order placed by a customer using the popup discount code.

Downloading Different Popup Reports:

To download the available reports, follow these steps:

  1. Access the "Reports" section in the BIK dashboard.

  2. Select "Widgets" as the report type in the reports library.

  3. Click on the "Generate" button for the desired report.

  4. Enter a name for the report in the "Add report name" field and select the date range from start to end date.

  5. Choose the "Widget name" for popup conversions and popup insights.

  6. Click on the "Generate" button to successfully generate the report.

  7. Navigate to the "History" section, where you can view the created report with the given name.

  8. Click on the download icon to download the popup report.
