Test Mode in Journeys allows you to trigger specific flows for designated contacts, providing a controlled environment to test your communication strategies.

The journey marked as Testmode will only work for those users who were added in Test mode settings page.

To use this feature, you need to configure test mode settings in advance. Here’s how to set up and enable test mode:


Setting Test Mode Users:

1. Open the Journey dashboard and find the Test Mode settings.

2. Click on the Test Mode option.

3. Add test users by entering their phone numbers (for WhatsApp), Instagram accounts (for Instagram), or email addresses.


Activating Test Mode for Flows:

There are two ways to enable Test Mode for a specific flow:

  • From the Builder Page:

    1. Open the flow you wish to test.

    2. Toggle the Test Mode switch to enable Test Mode for this flow.

  • From the Journey Home Page:

    1. Find the flow you want to test.

    2. Click on the more option and click on Test Mode On option.

1. Can I use Test Mode with multiple flows?

Yes, you can enable Test Mode for multiple flows simultaneously. Simply toggle Test Mode on for each flow that you want to test.

2. Will test mode users receive real messages?

Yes, test mode users will receive actual messages as if they were part of the journey.

3. Can I turn off Test Mode for a flow after I've enabled it?

Yes, you can disable Test Mode at any time. Simply toggle off the Test Mode switch in the flow builder or from the Journey home page.

4. What happens if I forget to enable Test Mode for a flow?

If Test Mode is not enabled, the flow will run for all the users even if they are not a part of testmode settings.
